Euthanasia – are the laws ethically correct?
Under English law, different types of euthanasia are given varying degrees of legality. Why is it legal to ignore a patient’s wish to live, but illegal to fulfil a patient’s wish to die? Does the law undermine autonomy? Medical laws need to be more aligned with ethical reasoning and medical ethics.
